__________________________________________________________________________________________
- New Times
Embark on something new. Innovation, creativity, euphoria, and optimism. Creating new spaces—at least a temporary solution.
- Ride Of The Yamnaya
The Voice of the steppe. The nomadic Yamnaya peoples lived in the Pontic steppe between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea between 3300 and 2600 BC. Their warlike, destructive raids reached as far as Spain and England, leading to a massive spread of their male DNA.
- I Thallassa – The Sea
The ocean as the origin and beginning of life. First habitat, eternal movement, endless sound, meditation. The primordial WWW: water, wind, and waves.
- Samba Tempera
Movement, dance, intoxication. Escape from reality into the party world, trance as an in-between space. The inspiration for this song actually came from my partner in art and life who is a great painter.
- Nymphenbad
A hymn to a very special, tiny place in Munich (unfortunately no longer existing), where reality, with the help of the past, seems to merge into another layer – a dreamy niche where beings from another world meet.
- Dauner’s Villa
This song is dedicated to the great German jazz pianist Wolfgang Dauner († 2020) and inspired by one of his compositions. Unfortunately, I never met him in person, but I have listened to countless of his recordings – a fantastic musician who collaborated extensively with jazz violinist Jean-Luc Ponty, already in the late 1960s.
- Emphanisi – Epiphany
Epiphany – the appearance from a higher dimension, perfection, beauty, security, calm, refuge, pre-peace.
- Augustokalypse
Augustus (the Emperor) or Augustine (of Hippo): Both contributed to the advance of patriarchy and ultimately to imperialism. The results were property, ever-increasing spatial claims, violence, destruction, and ruin.
- Piove a Napoli
Rain is rare in Naples. When it does rain, the city transforms into a waterscape, with huge puddles, reflections, and fountains thrown up by passing traffic. When the sun comes out, a dream of light emerges…
- La stanza
“La stanza” is the Italian word for room. Here it is a room inside the heart. I always wanted to write a song in typical Italian sound – well, here it is.
- JA – SA – SA – RA
This is most likely the name of the great Minoan mother goddess who united nature, art and love in her person.
- Into The Unknown
We fly away—into the unknown and the spaceless, into infinite space. Is it salvation, eternal peace? This title is dedicated to Andrea Laber, who built my two electric violins and passed away unexpectedly at the end of 2023. Have a safe journey!
